A Lucy Update

This post is loooong overdue since I had planned to do a Lucy update on her first birthday and she's now almost 14 months, but hey we've been busy.  Speaking of which my apologies for my ridiculously long absence, we were out of the country visiting Esposo's family for 3 glorious weeks over the holidays and I brought along my ipad to keep up with emails and my daily blog reads but not my laptop and blogging on the ipad kinda sucks (if you have any tips to make it suck less please let me know).  Anyways back to my darling chickadee....

She is the light of our lives, seriously she's incredible.  Having a one year old has it's share of challenges however I'm realizing that those challenges have way more to do with me than to do with her.  Sometimes I wish I had a bit more time to do things like chat on the phone with a friend, go for a run or to yoga or spend time with Esposo, but as far as Lucia goes, she is a joy.  It seems like everyday she's doing something new, blowing kisses, dancing with her maracas, tickling (and saying tigga, tigga, tigga when she does it), she knows where her nose and eyes are, she's slightly obsessed with Elmo, books are her favorite toys, she signs mas (more) and all finished, and blueberries are newly her favorite food (as in she ate an entire pint of blueberries in 2 days, at least they're healthy right?).  She's becoming such an amazing little person and I feel so blessed to be her mommy. 

I know I'm a bit partial, but isn't she the cutest?  Love this darling!
